The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority confirmed this month that they will host the Dubai International Project Management Forum. This forum will be its fourth in history and will feature masterclasses as well as award showcases, keynote lectures, and many other activities. Here are five reasons you should not miss this year’s event if you are interested in attending.
Attend masterclasses
Every PMP holder understands that learning doesn’t end once you have your certificate. Peer networking and project work are often the best ways to learn. The forum hosts masterclasses. This forum is dedicated to solving the most pressing problems that project managers face. Participants will learn about agile project management and how to create a PMO.
Win Awards
You could be eligible to receive the Hamdan bin Mohammed Award of Innovation in Project Management if you are a project manager or specialist. These awards recognize creativity and project management talent. The best part is that you can enter any project manager, team, or organization, regardless of where they are located. The deadline to submit applications is 30 June 2017, but applications opened in March.
Network
This could be the best platform for project managers worldwide and in the Arab world. Dubai is rapidly becoming a hub for project management as the Middle East expands its international presence in areas such as construction. The Dubai International Project Management Forum is a rare opportunity for people to meet new people, organizations, and take advantage of all the opportunities.
Take part in technical visits
On November 19, you will be able to visit the Etihad Museum and Dubai Water Canal, as well as Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the country. These technical visits allow you to see some of Dubai’s most successful and ambitious projects. A guided tour will be provided, as well as a presentation about the construction project and Q&A.

Earn PDUs
Best of all, you can register with PMI to renew your PMP certificate. You can also enjoy the sights of Dubai while meeting new people and earning up to 26 Professional Development Units. This is nearly half of the 60 PDUs that you will need for three-years. You don’t have to miss out on the Dubai International Project Management Forum. We offer training that is accredited for the PMP and CAPM. With a solid knowledge of the PMBOK(r), you can network and learn in Dubai. Any questions you may have about project management training can be answered by our highly qualified staff. You can reach out to us via our contact page.
