The following credentials are required to be certified within the Microsoft Certification Program:
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)

This certification falls under the category of database certifications. MTA is the only certification that requires passing one exam. MCSA and MCSE are also required. At the moment, there are two certifications in the MCSA Database Track – the MCSA SQL Server 2012/2014 or the MCSA SQL 2016, which both require three exams.
